The year that's passed since we turned 2 has been an eventful one for us. We released two vinyl singles with local favorites Joywave and Old Tapes; we brought The Static Jacks - who played our first birthday show - back to Rochester. We expanded from a team of two writers... to a team of 10, and we've been humbled by various praise for the work we put in to the blog.

So it only seems right to step back and celebrate it all, and celebrate it with the community that we love and who have enabled us to grow.

To that end, we're throwing a concert for our 3rd birthday, again at Bug Jar. We’re thrilled to have Born Gold coming in to headline the show. If you haven't heard Born Gold's excellent debut album, 'Bodysongs,' you can get the whole thing for free on his website for a limited time.

In addition to Born Gold, we're excited that tympanogram 002 artist Old Tapes will be opening the show as well. (Get their EP/7" single HERE.)

Also, one of the members of Born Gold performs under the name Kuhrye-oo, and he'll be performing that night as well, with a short set that will flow into Born Gold. You can listen to his work HERE.

If you purchase tickets in advance, please make sure to bring ID to the show, as advance purchase ticket holders will be on the guest list.
